Hi all, I'm trying to find a reputable shop to restore a TR3 engine(front and rear seals, new piston rings, new cylinder liners, and balance rotating parts).

Didn't know if anyone could point me in the right direction. I've heard great things about Macy's Garage in Ohio but they are half a country away, and while I'd love to have them work on the car I don't need anything concours. If need be I can keep saving and ship the engine to them though. I worry about finding anyone in my area to work on the car. Most shops say "yeah, we can do that, no problem" and I end up fixing what they have done myself.

I've browsed on local MG/Triumph forums but can't find many suggestions. There are TONS of shops in Charlotte that do great restoration work on classic American cars but can't find many that have much experience with LBCs.

Located in Charlotte, NC
