Drove mine to work today and the Readers Digest version of events is:
One frantic wave from a little boy walking with his mum (he must have been three or four)
Two "nice car Mister" from two lads riding their bikes to secondary school (who knew Trads were hip with the youth of today)
One thumbs up from a white van man
Countless Cruella comments from the people at my office
What amazed me the most was that I was the only soft top driver with the roof down! Whilst it was overcast, it made the commute so much nicer with the roof off.
Back now from the MOGSouth Spring Meet in Charleston, South Carolina. Great Meet. Over 70 people and 23 Morgans. 4 New Three Wheelers (M3Ws) and a prewar F4, three Aero 8s, three 4/4s and oodles of Roadsters and Plus 8s. Oddly though, not a single Plus 4. The weather was cool and overcast but the rain only showed up at night. If anyone is interested there is a write up in the latest MOGSouth Newsletter and some 50 or so pictures of the event posted to the club's web site, www.mogsouth.com Once there, just click the NEWSLETTERS or PHOTOS buttons and follow the links.
Cheers,

Yippee......my car is being trailered up home tomorrow from Williams
Can't wait to get back from work, jump in it and go for a decent spin And....see what difference the remapping has made!
Hi Jays, what improvement do you hope to get, I thought the roadsters are pretty quick anyway? Have you fitted Suplex? I'd be interested in how it is on a heavier Morgan? Been a bit quiet lately due to house move and then prepping race car.

Buggered Off, to a modern none leaky car, heart's still ticking
Suplex on Roadster makes a huge difference as Jays and Aldermog will testify. The steering on mine during the test drive was heavy and front end did not feel right. I had Suplex fitted with Avos on the rear and it has made driving over several hours very pleasurable. For me the power in the 3 ltr on mine is enough and to be honest made very clear my insurance company that performance enhancing mods would exponentially increase my premiums!!!!
