@donaldo:
it was on purpose not to attach the mudguard to the swinging arm! keep the moving parts as simple and solely as possible...my experience in the mechanical and technical world.

spring weather in switzerland is great: cold, dry, then pouring rain with wind, then dry again and at last the sun and quite warm....all at one day. interesting thing to feel in a m3w. but as some of you allready know: there is no bad weather, but unfunctional clothes drive gloomy woohoo

today, i changed the vdo-pipe-sender from a 240mm to a 280mm. easy job, 20min of work. fits perfectly. the only thing i had to change were the 2 screws, which hold down the 2 big clamps (towards the tire). with the new pipe-sender, there comes a thicker rubber ring. so the original screws are to short. simple!

I think any bobbins are better than Morgan bobbins. I used some from a Caterham exhaust mount. They stay together for years on a Seven.
