Any thing consider, private purchase,
Preferable location Southern England or South Wales.

There is on Car & Classic for £5000 as a "stored" wreck, seized engine etc knackerd rear wings.
It won't let me post a link here for some reason BUT heres the blub from the advert ( Advert is Nothing to do with me)
" a wonderfull opportunity for sombody..a rare 1986 morgan 4 seater.the vehicle needs a complete restoration.IT HAS BEEN STOOD OUTSIDE SHEETED UP FOR 10 YEARS.ALL THE WOODWORK IS GOOD AND THE BODY WORK UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES ITS VERY GOOD,THE HOOD AND THE CARPETS NEED REPLACING,IT HAS WIRE WHEELS WITH NEW TYRES.ITS ONLY DONE 31000 MILES AND ITS A ford 100e engine its a very good motor. now to cut out the timwasters the car is in the isle off man and will have too be collected which will be worth it for anybody who enjoys a challenge using a lot of blood sweat and tears 24 hours a day that should have sorted out the wheat from the chaff-the guys or know what they are doing from the DREAMERS..if the mercedes 6 door limozine £800.000 or the other mercedes hitler type car needing complete restoration fetched 4 million..it can only go up in value..just think of the joy and satisfaction?..Thanks for looking.TOO ADD WHAT IVE PUT,TTHE ENGINE ON THE CAR AS SIEZED AND WILL NEED TOO BE COLLECTED ON A TRAILER OR TRANSPORTER,IT HAS A 1600 FORD ENGINE NOT THE OLD CROSS FLOW AND IS A 4 SEATER CAR NOT 2 SEATER,ONCE RESTORED IT SHOULD BE WORTH IN THE ORDER OF£25000 SO OFFERS INVITED OVER £5000...THANKS FOR LOOKING."

Not a 100e engine, but the later X-flow.
His wild estimate of restored value is just that... I'll probably cost that and more to restore (if one factors in time element...).

If you see the pictures......it ain't worth £5k

It's the 1.6 CVH engine and I will bet it "broke" when the idiot to start it on a "fossilised" cam belt
Its a brave man that takes it on.
(Having said that I've restored far worse !)
