Happy Easter, did the bunny pay you all a visit?
While looking at Aero 8's, I have been told by various dealers about wheels availability, or rather lack of it. The early series 1 magnesium wheels and the early series 2/late 1 multi spoke 5 stud wheels for example.
Now I know planning to break a wheel is perhaps not the right mindset, but never the less, is their any truth in either of these stories and if so how best overcome? Do the he factory now have others to replace with or is it a case of aftermarket?

I would check direct with the factory. Heard similar stories when I bought my Series 1 4 years ago and some dealers were asking a sizeable premium for a used spare Oz magnesium wheel - one of mine had some corrosion on the rim. I bought 4 new ones from the factory and refurbished the originals in an attempt to future proof this aspect of the car. If my memory serves me correctly, there were well in excess of 100 Series 1 wheels in stock when I got mine as the factory had, apparently, bought up the remaining stock from OZ. No idea what the current stock position is.
I supect the hubs can be replaced in any event and later wheels fitted, but at a cost!

I bought four new S1 wheels from the factory last year, no problem with stock availability.

How much are new wheels for the S1 now?
I bought a spare set some years ago which IIRC cost me 2 bags.
