Also discovered, reading the web page, it is teflon coated, so waterproof and bird poo proof!

What a discovery!

Now, how to get the car teflon coated?

Does anyone here wear a deerstalker? The last time I saw one of those it was on the bonce of the amusing old eccentric John Bolster.

I have to admit to having quite a selection of hats I wear in the MOG depending on conditions/objectives (keep my solar panel warm or to stop it getting sunburnt). I have loads of baseball caps to keep the sun out of my eyes, a couple of woollen hats for when its really cold, and a "Baker Boys" cap that looks "authentic", but my current favourite is a soft leather cap that includes ear flaps that do up under the chin.

Love it! Personally I favour a flat cap in green corduroy for the cooler days, a baseball cap when its hot, and a lumberjack style jobby for when it's extra nippy.

Cap

Coincidence doesn't exist, Peter! Truly I was looking at these caps for Morganing this weekend. Important it doesn't fly off when driving!?
I have a leather cap for the cold, a Cotton hat for in the summer, but I need something in between.
I need some protection against the sun, or I must have my head teflon coated (with UV filter!)

I got a tweed cap (a Barbour one) when I got the car. In for a penny in for a pound.
I can recommend it for those, like me, who are follically challenged. It feels like sitting under a warm blanket.
Never flown off but the factory gift shop sell clips to link the cap and a collar if anyone is worried about hat/head separation at speed.
I did think about a deerstalker but feared the rear flap might hit the headrest and my family threatened to disown me if I got one. No wonder Sherlock Holmes was single.

I did go and buy a Barbour when I bought the Disco! Albeit one of the "Steve McQueen" vintage ones - slimmer fit with faux-sheepskin lining.

Nice and warm - and should work well with the Morgan in Autumn
