It was great to meet Jays, Nippymog and WarBird on Monday, also Mark the intrepid driver of the Factory five-speeder with an engine about twice the size of other twin cylinder cars competing. The weather was very kind and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. Get the job organised WB, June will soon be here and Curborough awaits, Mark would love to have another 5Sp to battle against, Pete Clews will help with the application and you'll love having a go. Do it now! Others on the brink, do join in, it's very informal and enormous fun.

Graham, that's excellent news, let's hope that more of you do the same. You'll have a day you'll never forget in good company and with the cars you love. What more could you want? Don't answer that. Thanks too for the photos, quality pics all added to the collection.

It was good to meet you on Monday Chris. Nippymog is certainly fired up for racing now, we just need to go eBay shopping for some gear. Acquiring the necessary skill to challenge the rest of the competitors will be much harder to obtain.
Looks like we might get down to Prescott in May.

I had forgot how narrow Loton was/is!! The key to hillclimbing is to use your brakes - not lift off! Mark was certainly having to use the steering wheel a lot - maybe after a few runs one would get used to the track! This is why good fast hillclimbers take a while to be on it - plus so little track time.Happy memories for me:))
