I have bought a new leather DIY interior from allon white, this will be ready in a few weeks time. Allon white are going to complete the seats but the rest is down to me.
I am looking forward to the project, does any body have any advice before I start.

I have retrimed two Morgan's to date and my advice would be: get some good quality knife blades, use a quality upholstery adhesive, use the correct tacks (Allon & White will hopefully supply) and most importantly, take your time. Also an upholsters hammer will save time with the tacks.

My Morgan was reupholstered a few years back by a local guy who had served his time in an old fashioned car retrimming business and he certainly made a super job of it.
The only bit of the Morgan trim he didn't like was the internal padding along the inside of the chassis frame under the door. In my case it had become damp/waterlogged so needed to be replaced with a waterproof foamy material.
.......and replace all holding down bolts/screws/eyelets for the trim panels, wooden seat supports, etc with SS. I used galvanised to bolt through to the underside and they rusted up in quite a short time. Similarly all tacks need to be corrosion proof.
..........and take your time, each hide tends to be "unique" so you can't go back for an extra bit.

Good luck and interesting point made by Simon about the trim on the door sill inner.
My 4/4 has tha area trimmed in vinyl, so easy to wipe dry and no problems with the material becoming waer-logged.

But have you looked behind the trim Bud......you may be horrified.....
