Hi HJP
"pinging" at high revs under hard acceleration was a sympton i had. The solution was a new map for the ECU supplied by Morgan. It adjusts the advance under those conditions.
There should be an earlier thread about this. Especially for the earlier cars. Mine is april 2012

Thanks P964 , my car was delivered Sept 2012 , I had read the earlier threads and thought my car had had the update , but for some reason it seems to have
got worse again lately .

Stick shift...cant say much more,try to guess what it might be...nowadays manual gear cars are a handful..new/fun

Correct 100% a corvette stingray 2014..z51 3LT..transparent roof,yellow/black Already found parts to upgrade, Its been awhile since i had a manual gear car  .the morgan3wheeler is great but you cant push it hard 24/7  I will post pics tomorrow when i take delivery Cant wait for burnouts
