Anyone else had problems with the lower grease nipple with the Supplex kit fitted?

I'm really struggling to get access to the nipple as the bottom of the Bilstein damper is up against it. it'll be a pain if I have to remove the damper each time I want to grease!

No, wheel off, apply full lock and it is easy. I'll try and grap a photo.

Lot easier to fit an angled grease nipple,45 or even 90,check if its UNF but if yours is 09 probably metric.

Hi John, I had this problem with the standard dampers when my motor was new.
I got around the problem by adding a copper washer to the grease nipple which meant that it was repositioned is such a way that I can grease without disconnecting the damper.

Even with the wheel right over the grease gun will not slip on....I had to slacken off the damper. Only one side, the other is fine.

I've tried turning the nipple Ian...still not working!

When under the front with the wheels off, noticed the protective pad on the underside of the wings coming away on the outer edge mad

Had one of those fall off totally, just held on by the wing side light, and melt on the Catalyser on my 4 seater, took the dealer several attempts to bond it back on.

45 degree is best IMO, and if you're really keen you can spend a few minutes lapping a washer to the appropriate thickness to ensure the nipple is pointed in the right direction when tightened up.

Jays, time to have "a word" with the person who fitted the Suplex kit, perhaps?

I wonder if my Mog has been somewhat fettled by the factory over its first couple of years so it is easy to service?
