That is Piston Heads guessing I think! The car is still a rendering and hasn't been built yet.

Speedster would be suited to warmer, dry climates like California/Med etc, £70K is a lot for a fine weather use in UK! Would need suitable design of headgear/goggles. Nice looking machine though with some nice alternative wheels. I read the Pistonheads article as well. Lots of guesswork!

It would remove the need to comment about ill-fitting roof and leaks as well.....

Makes for a cheap racing +8 though. I can see it being very popular with this community.

On the Piston Heads site today: http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29852Interesting that the metallic beige(?) and grey cars with the black and silver wheels respectively are steel wheels; presumably cutting cost, but with some increase in unsprung weight c.f. the alloys on the silver car. They all look good though I suspect that those 'steel' wheels are actually Image Wheels Alloy Billet 46 Same as used on the Baby Doll - just larger.

This Morgan evokes sheer unmitigated lust down under. I'd sell everything for one of these

If so, they are very nice, rather like the old Dunlop magnesium racing wheels If you select the photo of the grey car though, they do look like a pressed steel wheel, especially around the wheel nut area and where the hub cap would fit. All speculation and intrigue I know, but isn't that half the fun of sharing and discussing in our virtual pub

Don't forget that they are only stylists renderings! The Dunlop style wheels available are slightly different in detail.

Some pricy options...
Surprised they dont offer the tradtional hood as a option... the easy fit is £3.5k..
Not sure on the compulsary wing piping..
