I like the bubbly windscreen... No easy fit on that model I guess, just tonneau.

I suspect the traditional hood would blow off at the speeds the car is capable of!

Not sure on the compulsary wing piping..

I've just priced "my" Speedster to replace the Aldermog: almost £80K.

Talked to Finance.

I'll buy a lottery ticket.

Again.

not surprised by the expensive options .. bit like Porsche in recent times, low headline price, options add lots of cost.

works if you get basic/simple car.

£4200 for a hood is outrageous though.

However, I like the idea of stripped out car.

It appears that only 2 interior colours and 12 exterior colours.

wonder what the Aeromax and Speedster wheels look like ..

Listened to Mark Ledington, MSCC Sales and Marketing Director, speak at Allon White's breakfast club this morning. He said that the intention is to offer a stripped out racer and if you spec it up to standard plus 8 levels it will cost considerably more than a regular plus 8 of the same spec. ( Does that make sense? I've had a very good lunch.)

£4,200 is a very high price for a bit of shaped mohair but I suspect the cost also includes the heated windscreen, pillars, three wipers and side screens. The work to make and fit it will also be included in the price.

The upspecified speedster costs the same as the standard plus 8. It is the Moggie version of a "chopper".
Good enough for racing and if You want to get rid of unnecessary things like airbags and stereo and get a proper moto-lita wheel, but much less bespoke options when it comes to colours

Interesting that the metallic beige(?) and grey cars with the black and silver wheels respectively are steel wheels; presumably cutting cost, but with some increase in unsprung weight c.f. the alloys on the silver car.

They all look good though thumbs

I suspect that those 'steel' wheels are actually Image Wheels Alloy Billet 46

Same as used on the Baby Doll - just larger.

I can confirm that they are alloy and not steel.
