Or more strictly, a replica, filled in to suit my trike.

The horse power (HP) was put on as although the class was limited by weight, if a car was that powerful, it would cost £10 as the rate was £1 per horsepower.

The low tax of a tricycle featured heavily in Morgan advertising.

Notice it is a road fund licence not a tax disc.

The money raised was for road building only, not general taxation.

Just another broken promise that they hope we have forgotten.

Road fund until 1936, when the income received went to general taxation in the Finance Act of 1936.

So it's been a tax for a rather long time!
