Hi Mario,
My car came with the speedo in that position but you can easily move yours to be closer to you, there should be enough length of wiring behind.

I'm still in two minds over the spoke position. Looking at the Plus4 Supersport that has a similar wheel which as standard also partially obscures the rev counter. I wonder how many SS owners move their wheels around?

Love that photo of you in the car by the way! Great angle and very atmospheric.

Adrian,
Because of the use of the leather covered standard boss, I'm not sure an alternative cowl would work. The stainless stalks would look good though although don't you use one of the wiper functions?

Why not make one or modify another same as yours, or have a chat with Mathias at MK, I bet he has something in his bag. Also I am pretty sure he does the stainless stalks for later cars. Alternatively Parks DE do modify stalks to make them stainless. My stalks are wiper on left and indicator right with flasher and horn. See you soon. cheers

Indeed, but we have a Ford box and one cannot forget that Ford made tractors.....!!

Whilst I'd like to lower the position of the knob it simply isn't worth the effort as to replace the lever is a graebox out job, I'm told.

The neat alloy switch levers don't have the ability to set intermittent wipe speed. This may not be so much of a loss!Even

My understanding is Parks DE convert them to keep all the original functions and they are stainless.
