You'd have to own stock in a polish company . . .

I agree, smaller flatter heat shield ... stunning rendition, nonetheless ... love ... as if I don't sit and stare long enough as it is.

thumbs cheers

I don't know exactly what has changed but I do know there were some issues with the Brooklands silencers. I noticed these were particularly well made and very securely mounted. I suspect that the factory has reacted to customer experience and feedback and have made some changes.

Oh! The strange looking patch on the rear of the car is some sort of protective cling wrap

Such a beautiful polished car, if you don't mind just staring at it. Using it would require a labor of love to keep it on a bling bling state.
cheers

I have been told my exhaust issues were a one-off.

However, I've not yet been told what happened or what the fix is.

On the subject of Brooklands silencers (known in 1927 as The Brooklands 'Official Receiver'!) read here-

The specification is very precise, even down to the size of the holes in the fishtail (a la Velocette). Gerry.

Love the fishtails - put me in mind of an early Velocette.

I went for green as the polished look is just not practical in this country.
