It does look good. Can you see over the new screen or do you look through it? Is fitting a DIY job?
Tim.

They look very good on the car, and from Bike experience I can tell you'll be a lot more protected at speed than with the regular shields. In long voyages it should be a big plus in comfort.

Tim. I finished fitting my kit yesterday and I agree entirely with Donald that Fairbourne's Aero Screen is well designed and accurately manufactured: it is a quality product. I'm not sure about Donald, but from static tests (I have not been able to drive it yet) I will still be looking over the screen (just), but with the option of ducking to look through it. I am 6ft 3in or thereabouts. It is a fiddly job, mainly because motor cars are designed to be built in a sequence in a factory and when you take bits off and try to put them back on you usually find that you are lost somewhere in the middle of the sequence; during the factory's assembly process, awkward angles and fiddling about in areas that you cannot see properly without putting your back out tend to be avoided, even at MMC. Apart from the need for a longer central tonneau fastener as mentioned by Donald (I just fitted a normal nut and bolt, as it makes no difference to the tonneau's efficiency), here is a point worth noting: The screens arrive marked "Driver" and "Passenger". Check the slots in them against those in the original screens once you have removed them (the most physical part of the process). Those markings were the wrong way round for my LHD 'car'. I shall send a note to Fairbourne, suggesting they mark them "Left" and "Right" instead and also congratulating them on their product.

Donald, that looks stunning! The black cowl, the badge and the new screen take the whole car up to a higher visual level. Glad you had the black centre strut, it makes such a difference to the whole. Well done, you. Now it's pics, pics, pics from here..

The badge looks great on black.....which is why I have had my cowl wrapped in satin black vinyl Also had my mirror backs and stalks done too. That screen looks so good, you could invent some little side windows and one of those canvas structures like a little tent, which would keep you dry in the rain. Before you know it, you will keep it up all the time, because it is so nice driving from inside.

Black mirrors Steve - I just went to a local vynil wrapping guy and asked if he could do the cowl and the mirrors, the answer was "of course" so I said go for it. He did the mirror heads, and the stem but not the nut, top and bottom as that was looking difficult to get right, though he was willing to have a go.
