I don't consider it abusive and I'm not sure how anyone could (especially as my home town hockey team are called the Vancouver Canucks) but you do need to spell it correctly BtG!

"Canadians use "Canuck" as an affectionate description of nationality and the word carries no particular patriotic overtones. A few Americans misinterpret "Canuck" as an offensive noun but would be hard pressed to find a Canadian, French or English, insulted by the word - the opposite being most likely. It is similar in use to "Yankee" for an American."

Wiki Canuck

Anyway, I'm a mongrel - a little bit Irish, English and Canadian (and that is what I know about!) happy3

Good mixture Simon,

But then I'm biased - English, Irish (though they apparently came from Cumbria a few generations back) and allegedly a French Count from the days of the Revolution (though it's more likely it was his groom shocked2 )...

Hello Aeromax

I don't know where you live in France but if it's not too far from Toulouse I'd love to get my Aero 8 (yellow of course) alongside your Aeromax.

All the best with the car and hope to meet up in the not too distant future.

Philippo,

I am living in Orleans which is quite up North VS Toulouse, likely 550 kilometres or so, on the Loire Valley.

If you pass nearby drop me a mail, B&B FOC at home

Yes – no problem.

We're about an hour from Dover (if you are going that way) coming from the M25.

Would be interesting to see the reaction from our neighbours if there was a new Aeromax in the drive - when our Trad turned up, she said ‘we we wondering when your rich friends were going home’, and he hasn’t really spoken to me since!

Perhaps we should plan an Aeromax relay, with staged escorts from factory to port!

Aeromax

Likewise (b&b foc)if ever you are in the Toulouse area. Of course same goes for any other Aero owners who might be in the locality!

Cheers

Philip
