D'yknow, I'd never even thought of wrapping.

My train of thought was running with powder coating or spraying & the faff that entails. But wrapping..? Hmmmmm, got me thinking now.

Thanks

I've been amazed by what people can wrap. there's a 3 wheeler that was wrapped with a brushed metal look wrap. i'd love to see it in person but from the pics it looks impressive. not sure it's my taste but it's also not my trike. the nice part is you can always remove it!

can't figure out how to embed it from fb so here's the link

Yes it does look right, dam it, just after I'd fitted a set of Brooklands glass aeroscreens too. Looks like they will be coming off again then..................

Did a 120 mile "fun run" on Sunday with some heavy showers in my M3W fitted with the Fairbourne screen. I found that it has another bonus, it keeps a lot more of the rain off you on the move than the original screens. On the down side, you do have to use the manual wiper (your hand) more. You don't have the problem of the rain running up the bonnet / cowl / hood and between or around the screens and ending up in your lap so much. A large umbrella is ideal when stationary.

Peter,

car looking great, dug definitely indifferent to M3W.

it is imminent that our cars will be parked beside each other, only difference may be the painted cowl. I do hope that big furry thing will be on a chain!

Car nearly ready for the adventure.

Chocks away and tally ho.

I am interested in purchasing the Fairbourne Aero screen as it looks great and should provide better protection on long runs, eliminating the need to wear a full face helmet.

Can any one who has this screen please advise if the central support frame creates a blind spot when driving. I just like to see all of the road and at the moment have to look through the screen most of the time and stretch to see over it.

Cheers...
