So today was the day I said goodbye to the best car I've ever owned, and took delivery of the fantastic Azzuro Nuvola S2. My thanks first and foremost to Julian Cutts at SGT. This is the second car I've bought there, and it's always a pleasure dealing with real car enthusiasts.

I've had a fabulous drive around today enjoying the new sensations of the S2, it's certainly a different car and expreience to the S1, but still a thoroughly Morgan experience. I'm incredibly chuffed with the new beast, though do admit I almost shed a tear saying goodbye to the S1. Without doubt I'll always remember my first Aero - a brilliant induction into what Morgan are all about and the reason I ended up on this site, with a great bunch of enthusiasts who I now count as friends, and some great memories of taking part in many Mog related adventures.

So here are a couple of pics of the two beasts side by side..

Can't wait for some sunshine tomorrow, had to put her away now as have dinner out this evening and no parking at the venue (how irritating!). Will be out at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Almost tempted to find a FOS ticket just for the drive down and back.

Plans for 'additions'

1. Well the stero lack 'oomph' (though it's a beautifully executed DAB system with a 6 disc changer) so wentworth audio will be getting a call shortly.

2. Sidepipes - already spoken to factory and planning to ahve it booked in shortly.

3. Possibly look at upgrading the wheels at some point. They are nice, but I prefer the look of the S4 wheels, and I'm thinking that 19's would fit ok and fill out the arches a little better...

4. Drive a lot!

Tony

Congrats on the S2

If you are intrested in off loading the wheels I may be intrested as I prefer the S2 to the current S4 , If I put the deposit down on an S4 maybe we could do a swap woohoo

Rich,

Fantastic! Look good side by side too but onwards and upwards.

Have heaps of fun and I'm looking forward to seeing you in if at the rolling road day thumbs

Just as an aside you guys will need to check the wheels issue out as I am led to believe that the offsets are not compatible. I am sure someone more knowledgable than me will let us know (cereal?)

BtG

Cheers

Andy - if it's possible the S4 wheels are on my list as a possible swap, though I guess we'll have to follow Boshly's advice and check they will actually work!

Congratulations Rich - a job well done! wine

And, I'd have to agree, Julian is a great chap to deal with - an enthusiast, knowledgeable and straight (honest) to deal with. Obviously we are not alone in our thinking as he seems to be selling a lot of Morgans. I would recommend him to anyone.

I also love the back to back shots; enjoy your new car.

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I am after another set of wheels like mine (and those on your S2) so let me know if you decide to change.
