Drove to the office yesterday to pick up a new battery for the laptop.

From Salisbury through the Chalke Valley, onto the A30 to Shaftsbury and then Gillingham. Returned via tha B3081 up "Zig-Zag" hill (makes Shelsly Walch look like a gentle stroll in the woods) then down to the A354 and back to Salisbury. A great drive under a perfect blue sky.

Yes another test drive to see fellow +8 owner Graham Keen in Sidmouth, been trying to get him onto TM for a year now with no success. An Morgan area for Lyme Bay was his and his partners idea and some of you may have seen FossilMog in Miscellany this month, Graham, NeilM, Budster and myself are the founding members with our swmbo's. Anyway I digress, Graham and I went to Honiton cross country in Rosie and got a fence post for him, a lovely drive on a lovely day. drive

We have family in Sidmouth and often visit.
However today I headed up to North Devon. Watchet, Minehead, Lynmouth and back to Taunton. Beautiful roads and weather. Saw a cream plus 4 in Lynmouth and a green 4/4 heading into Minehead.
Beats working. drive

We like Watchet... I like to see progress on the MTB Gay Archer and it is a pleasant little village centre to wander around. Haven't managed the 'maritime museum' yet...

Saw several Mogs yesterday on my trip to Buzzards Valley Winery (and restaurant), including Ian (Wirewheel), plus there was a good gathering of Mogs at the restaurant smile
