Thanks all.
My closest dealer would be about 400 miles away. I know some guys on our west coast that have a long commute to a dealer as well.
I'm more of a cut twice and cuss later kind of guy.
Thanks again.

Threads do not get deleted on TM unless they break the terms of use of the site and Dan's does not.
The only other reason for a thread to be removed would be in the rare cases where the originator of the thread has contacted one of the Admin team directly and asked for the topic to be deleted. These occasions are extremely rare and if the reasoning is sound, we will delete the thread. Again, Dan has not done so, nor do I believe there is good reason to delete it, so his topic remains. I started to write a PM to Simon asking him to delete my post, but instead of sending it out, I sent it home and would go over it a bit and send it last night. After seeing some of the comments and PM's, I decided to not send it and take my chances, so to speak. I'll shut up now and we'll move on. Thanks again.

Well, I had a first-generation Punto once. I cannot recall why I bought it (apart from a useful discount) but I remember why I sold it: I hated the bloody thing from the start, even though it was quite good in some respects. On the other hand, before that I had an Alfa 75 Twin Spark. I transformed it with a Harvey-Bailey suspension kit (which got rid of the standard understeer) and a few other mods. There were alll sorts of things wrong with it (rubbish interior including a less than perfect driving position, low ground clearance, and so on). But I seriously regret selling it, even disregarding the well-known Alfa specialist who ripped me off. This is the thing about cars - you either hate them despite their virtues or like them despite their faults. So far, I still like the M3W, though last Thursday was not fun.

Hi Dan
The hard part of all this is while we all love reverse trikes in American terms somehow most of our positive criteria for everyone involved just does not translate in British English.
While Building my Trike I had the same problems.
Even in the states between south and north we talk differently. I am smart but sound stupid is the wrong area!
I like everyone here!
While my vehicle is not the same we see the same challenge's Open mindedness is the key to trouble free motoring in your vehicle!
The key here is to have a reliable vehicle that the factory supports during the warranty without a lot of hassle. But remember one thing this is a vehicle made in small scale whether 1 or 1000 , Its all in craftsmanship during the build that day on how yours turns out.
Building my own gets rid of those variables.
Edward

I'm glad you didn't because I would just told you 'No' As before, your opinion is as welcome as anyone else's on this forum as long as it doesn't break the terms of use. If we all agreed on everything, this site would be rather dull!

If we all agreed on everything, this site would be rather dull! Steve was right to a point, I think I crossed the line with my comments and arrogant at the same time. But as two moderators have said, it did not break the site rules and it stays as it is. I too believe that variety is the spice of life and differing opinions are what keeps us challenged and driving forward to a better place. In a big way Morgan will see that they have VERY loyal customers with the M3W, but also see some of their frustration with repeated failures and not being offered the latest upgrades under warranty without paying over and above for them. I work for an O.E.M. of production equipment for the plastics industry and we have our own issues, especially with new machine designs. It's a fine line on upgrades as our alpha machine goes to beta and along the way there are incremental improvements. We also have the issues of upgrading our customers at no charge or just replacing parts with the same parts hoping we can make it out of the warranty period. In the past we did the latter, now we're moving more proactive to upgrade when possible with the new components at no charge. We have a lot of competition in our market and the changes has proven positive in repeat customer referral recommendations of our new equipment. So we feel that the cost of the upgrades is being paid back. Sorry for rambling again, but company profits, customer satisfaction and sales all play a big part in how things get done. Years ago I had two posters in my office: "It takes years to win a customer, but only seconds to lose them." "Price, quality and service, pick two!" As I've said before, I'll try to keep a lid on my opinions. As some have stated, I have no skin in the action. It's only right that if there is any stone throwing that I leave that to the M3W owners. Thanks again to everyone for their support.
Dan

Dan, Pls do not go. I am not offended in the least. Your perspective is very valuable. This car has problems and your objective analysis helps provide input to correct the deficiencies.
