And I'm 'on the cushions' on the way back ! Don't tell the travelling public! A lady friend of ours was travelling up from Exeter yesterday and was in need of a cushion as the journey was a PI the Ass, she had to change trains twice due to various breakdowns what have yous . Not a good Birthday treat the journey to London.

Sounds as if it really wasn't fun! Standing water seems to set off the engine management light on Aldermog: always the same thing, slow responding lambda sensor on the exit of the cats, most often the near side. I now have an OBDII reader and check and re-set. Water from under the dash? I suppose the wipers are the most likely route. The rubber seals rounf thewiper shafts on Aldermog are a bit "tired" as are the screen wash ones. Something for the winter as the dash will have to come off I guess. [/quote] Can you not fit a heat resistant shroud over the wires and Lambda sensor to try and stop water from getting at them? Not sure where yours are on a Roadster. mine are at the case of the exhaust manifold and mounted vertically on top of the pipes, but are shielded by the chassis and side wall, it might be possible for water to get at them if I went through a deep puddle with a big splash.
