Welcome to TM from another 2003 - 4/4 owner.
I've owned my 4/4 for 9 years so know many of the eccentricities of the model.

First job is to figure out why its running so rich.. anyone know what the fuel pressure should be? also is it possible to tune the electronics (ecu or whatever its called on these) at home? I see there is a connector up under the dash but presumably it needs some software? Steve

Steve. The running rich I would guess relates to the throttle bodies and subsequent fuelling. Perhaps worth having a word with Williams who may be able to set it properley for you.
Unusual dash layout, I don't recall seeing one like that.
Lovely looking car though and as we all know red ones are faster!

It's certainly had some interesting mods done to the engine. As Budster says, Williams are well worth trying regarding the mapping of the ECU. A nice run down from where you are.

Yes sounds like a run to Williams is on the cards. Just going through all the docs that came with it, lots of work done. I see it has Kent cams, plus the suspensions been lowered and Rutherford Avo mods, Librands exhaust, it's quick but just need to get it running right so it's all worth it!
