If it is running an Omex ECU you can download the software from their web site. I have just spent a good bit of time fine tuning my system. If it is running too rich when the car is fully warmed up it must be a long way out because the reading from the sonda lambda would normally correct the mixture. Mine is just about perfect now but I am up to the 21st version of the calibration and quite a few test runs. I don't expect to be making many more changes now.

The balance of the throttle bodies is quite critical and it took me a while to understand exactly the best way to go about it. Do you have an airflow guage to use for balancing?

Well I've been in touch with Williams... Looks like they can't take it on until mid July which is a bit of a pain. Also slightly irritated that after promising to phone me back this afternoon they didn't. Not exactly great service and More akin to the behaviour of a ford dealer I'd say...
So no further forward. Anywhere else to try?

Really? Anyone on here tried taking a 'very modified' and not current Ford model to a Ford dealer and asking for help sorting it out? I doubt they would even entertain it...

In contrast, you have found a Morgan dealer who is prepared to get involved. Albeit they can't squeeze you in for several weeks. In your position I'd be more grateful for the help. I run Omex/TBs and it's not a simple set-up to calibrate, especially mapping for cold-start and smooth transition from small throttle openings.

Stuart you are probably right.. Although I don't see as a potential paying customer I should be 'grateful' and surely it's only common courtesy to call someone back when you say you will? And respond to an e mail enquiry, which they didn't. I guess I just expected better service than the average main stream dealer that's all..

If you called Williams recently they were short staffed as the boss is on his honeymoon! Henry is the main phone responder. There are only 4 main people who deal with customers:

Henry, the Boss
Paul, Sales
Mike, Workshop
Elles, Rental and events

Big Boss Richard helps, but isn't there all the time.

I know they are very busy in the Workshop, the best way to get Mike to squeeze you in is to go there during the week, drink a mug of tea or coffee and chat. Once they know you and put a face to a name the service seems to improve.

Given the level of mods made to the car they will be interested. Laurie, a.k.a "Chunky 4/4 Racer" and their head technician will be fascinated...

Oh, watch out for the spaniels. They just look at you and you have to spend money.

Unfortunately, it's the time of year when Morgan workshops are around their busiest, with those who park their cars up for the winter discovering things that need rejuvenating because the car hasn't been used for months.
Williams do occasionally slip up on responding and as Peter said they are very short staffed at present, with some being away. You could try New Elms (near Shaftesbury) but I suspect they are just as busy, or Millers (High Wycombe) who probably have the same lead time too. TEchniques may be another possiblility, but they're in Hertfordshire.

A few other alternatives if you are prepared to travel a bit further:

They are highly complimentary about the skills and service.
