Didn't think they'd changed the speed limit yet.

Drove 260 miles home from Somerset to Essex 200 of them in the most horrendous rain, car performed well no leaks from hood but a few drips from under the dash. Probably a hole needs some mastic tomorrow.

Jay - Glad you are ok.
Have a good trip, hopefully a lot less eventful than the journey up there.

exting
DRove the motorway between Marsailles and Nice then up into the hills to Grasse. The latter hopelessly congested and those undergound car parks have steep exits/entries that bottom out the Mog. Kept going higher and found a nice little mountain village of Cabris.

Close call John, that is why I stopped biking in the UK most drivers don't ever look and a similar incident on the M4 two lane section before the flyover into London where I had to drop my K75S convinced me to stop. At least i was at sub 20 mph speeds, the guy did something similar & didn't even stop. Thankfully the traffic behind did.

+1..

Last bike ride was about a year ago and I sold the bike.
I got to the point where I wouldn't ride on Motorways or Trunk roads because of the traffic and I didn't feel that I was safe and in control. That left me only local roads and no where really to go.
