Funny you mention that Peter. My advanced potential incident warning system was not with me then!

Went for a bimble round the lanes between Salisbury and Romsey.

All rather like a trip in a time machine, no real evidence of the 21st century, just a classic car on roads unchanged since the 1920s when they were first surfaced. Didn't go very fast, mostly in 2nd and 3rd so the car sounded just about perfect: lots of pops and burbles on the overrun....

Driving into West Dean we came across the village Fete, lots of smiles and more than a few waves and a couple of "Nice Car" comments form the multitude.

For us that is what Morgan ownership is about. happy3

That will have been at Williams?

So which car is going to make space?

A perfect day?

Super weather in Huntingdonshire today so decided to take a trip to the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden. Not been there for ten years or more, even though it is only a short drive away. They do have some super bits of kit there which they make every effort to keep working, well worth a visit if you have not been there.

Came home via the B roads and stopped to pick up a few punnets of strawberry's from one of the many roadside stalls.

O.H. is working on baby pulling duties today so we were on a very late lunch. Put one on the Elinor fishery trout that I caught yesterday on to the BBQ and accompanied by some fresh Norfolk samphire, Jersey Royals and asparagus from the garden washed down with a glass or two of Pouilly Fume made a pretty good late lunch!

But best was to come, the roadside strawberry's were by far the best I have tasted in many years, and puts the imported ones to shame.

When you think about it, this is not such a bad place to live!

Well I don't think I can beat Scrambled's day, sounds a good 'un! I did take mine out for a blast, ended up in Burford, nice run. Apart from my oil cooler deciding to weep so I now have a very oily underside, oh well no rust there then! Did a quick bypass job to allow me to use the car without the cooler while I seek a replacement. Good weather for a run out though smile and spotted 2 Morgans on the A48 for a quick wave.
