hideYes I know I have typed the above and its not what a mog owner wishes to see . The postie arrived around lunch time dropped a huge pile of stuff off as I looked at it ooo. There it was a huge white enverlope with the above stamped on .This has to be a sick joke from a mate so I thought opened it to find an official letter from the MG Owners club Membership Department somestick. I sent away for a couple of headrest plastic covers to pop in the seat holes and along came this . My PC went on the blink and I was unable to log in , I thought Simon had kicked me out for being a traitor laugh2. But I had touched the cap lock PHEW notworthy Looks like a job for the shredder .

Don't knock them. They are quite a friendly bunch. I joined when I had an MGB V8.

Really?

I waved at a bloke in an MG Roadster a couple of days ago and he blanked me, ignorant bar steward!

Never get that from TR owners, TVRs, Caterhams or Westies.

Met a great crowd from the MG Owners Club in France last year. 4 x MGAs. 1 x RV8, 1 x Midget.
Two hilarious evenings with them in the hotel.
cheers

Looks like you are the only one who parks in what I call the Mensa mode - i.e. facing out.

To my eyes the MGA is still one of the prettiest cars of all time. Nearly as easy on the eye as a Mog !!

Like any club, there are good and bad elements. I've had a lot of involvement with the MGOC for the last 15 years or so and they're generally a good bunch. Some of the MGB owners can be a dodgy lot though, but the MGF/TF lot outweigh them these days. Otherwise, they're good allys. Rodger Parker being a particularly Good Egg.
