Does the IN THE FRONT apply to the car or the girl? - there John, I said it for you !!!  Does the OLD ONE apply to the car or the girl .   You can NOT do any courting a Triumph I tried worse than a mog I think. I managed in a Mini, in the front, the old one.

In my younger days (1960's ) I drove MG Midgets. Great for pulling the girls but they were as safe as houses in that car, just not possible

Well Dave I'm not sure that ever happened but I do remember one night leaving the Princess Bowl in Dagenham ( a popular haunt In those days ) cramming 8 ! People in the Midget and driving quite slowly with the exhaust dragging most of the way

The first car I had was a Renault Floride. I had just purchased it stopped at the local wall where all my mates and the local girls sat and asked one girl if she wanted a ride . She told me "no way am I getting in their with you" . I was only going to drive along the road and back could not afford the petrol and to shy to think anything else I just thought she did not trust my driving . By was I green. I used to take my old mans van before then loads of lads in and sometimes a few girls . Went down the beach road and onto the cliff tops , I left one lad in with a girl and went for a walk with her pal . She would not even give me a kiss just wanted to talk. When we returned the van was bogged down in the mud , don't know what they had been doing to cause that. I had to rev its bits off mud all over as the lads pushed , then sly it in around the rear and wash it before my dad asked to many questions .
