http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C515248Imagine if he had bought a Daytona which would have been cheaper at the time!

It should not be a surprise as Peter Morgan was a true lover of all things related to cars.

...well, it was a four seater one. With a solid roof. Not really in competition with his own range of vehicles.
I wonder what the asking price is?

It's well known that Peter Morgan was a Ferrari fan and not really a surprise when you look at what cars were available. If I owned Morgan Car Company and could have any of the cars whenever I wanted I might be tempted to have something a little bit different. As I don't and feel incredibly privileged to be able to own and drive a Morgan I am happy with my choice but if I won the lottery and could have more than one car .........

It was never on the road much as far as I know. It always languished in a corner of the dispatch bay while Peter drove his light blue Plus 8 AB 16. I used to see him regularly in it when he was going home to Cradley on my way back from work.

I am quite disappointed to learn of Charles's leaning towards the "F" brand when it should have been the "M" brand. I thing Cecil Kimber drove his "MG" brand bespoke model with true pride and Charles should have done likewise.

And his father, H.F.S. Morgan, drove Rolls-Royce: (Morganhistoryinfo)
