In my younger days (1960's ) I drove MG Midgets. Great for pulling the girls but they were as safe as houses in that car, just not possible  Beg to differ on that one, it was possible but I will not divulge any further information.

Best courting car I ever had was RR Shadow 1 great for pulling and this useful little button that made the seat slide back and forth electrically

I once got friction burns across my forehead from the nylon velour in the back of a girlfriend's dad's Renault 25. Painful and vivid rash - I had to tell people it was a creosote burn acquired at work

It was a long while ago early 70s I had driven behind the brick works while having an enjoyable time a torch was shone on my bare arse and a tap on the window . It was a PC Plod he was checking to see if I was nicking bricks . Funny place to hide bricks .  Also went near the old life boat hut ( been empty for years ) , parked the car a Triumph 2000 estate it was a silent place after a long while popped my head up and there was my mates car parked next to me . Little did he know I fancied the hell out of the blonde he was going out with at the time .
