Hi all I have just joined the forum and was looking for some advice, I had a little incident a while ago picking up my daughter on a lovely evening and elected to take the Morgan out as treat for her. sadly some poor soul had placed a large rock on the edge of their lawn to protect the grass verge. I did not see it! the near side wing was damager but beautifully repaired and painted by my local garage using a Chipex paint kit which matched the paint perfectly, sound advice from the Morgan factory there. However I also scratched a couple of the spokes on the rear wheel too. can anybody help regarding sourcing the right paint for the painted silver factory wheels and laquer to finish the job?

The wheels are made and finished by these people:

www.mws.co.uk

I think contacting them might be the best answer.

My wires are painted black - and am always getting chips etc. - I use a gloss black engine paint - or a gloss black hammerite smooth- depending whether there has been any rust set in. I dap it on with a cotton bud which is then discarded - no mess -no brush cleaning.. Neither paints need primer. It works with black - maybe there are similar paints in silver.
