Back on topic, dealers says MMC offers three solutions: 1) a grease nipple for current compensator  2) replace current compensator with one with a grease nipple 3) Centa, credit for current compensator replacement with nominal extra fee and extra installation  I said CENTA ... now we wait ...

Off topic again Plymouth Ferry is good, we used it last year and I went straight from Spain to St Jean de Luz and then a few weeks touring through France on four wheels with roof mainly down. Car came back with me that time!
Is it because I am a mariner that I harp back to vessels?

My dealer put a grease nipple on mine and it is MUCH more civilized now. It almost doesn´t rattle at all. The lack of rattles reveals, however, a whine not unsimilar to the bevel box´s. Not a major problem.
