Fascinating reading the various choices....now if I were a psychologist....

Lots of films I really like and several already mentioned so a few that have had a long lasting impact on me...(or on my psyche?? Scary!)

Lion King. start of the new breed of cartoons with 2 standards of humour eg Pumba being chased by lioness .. "She's going to eat my...Aaarrrghs!"
Clockwork Orange. I only saw it once and that was 30 years ago! Seems like yesterday.
Up Close and Personal. Michelle Pfeiffer. A film's message about we should all try and fulfill our dreams, life is too short. Oh, and Michelle Pfeiffer.
The Horse Whisperer and Bridges of Madison County. A man should not be afraid to cry.
Mama Mia! If you were there in the 80ies then every man should take his current wife or girlfriend. Mega brownie points!

I hope the summer comes soon, my 10month old hood leaks bigtime

Come on lads, keep them coming

This is such a hard question - there are so many good films, my favourites change all the time!

Strangely, I find it easier to remember my least favourite films:
Blackhawk Down - botch-job US-style becomes box-office hit
AI - nearly accidentally slashed my wrists at the end of this one

But here are three of my favourites:

American Beauty - unconventional and deliciously disfunctional
Amelie - heartwarming
and then there's a toss-up between The Matrix (groundbreaking) and Mr & Mrs Smith - sizzling! not the greatest plot, but it's hard to decide which one is more fanciable!!

OK, I give it a try... very, very hard...

Crossroads (the one by Walter Hill, with Joe Seneca and Ralph Macchino)
City of angels
Meet Joe black

But I also like:
- romantic comedy movies ...and yes, I'm male and heterosexual
- old western movies (John Wayne)
- road movies
- time traveling movies (in the way of "Back to the future")
