Hi Blondy, I have a 2012 4/4 1.6l . My K&N filter is KN33-2877 The set up on my 2009 4/4 is somewhat different but I got some great pointers from Cain and installed the K&N air filter he referenced. I also made up a 'ram air system' with a tube connected to the bottom of the air filter box collector, and exiting under the radiator at the front of the car with an air scoop from 'Demon Tweaks'. Air filter €30, tube €5 and air scoop €10 (I think). I think it made a lot of difference to performance of the standard 1.6. More torque, more response in take-off and higher gears - Very cheap horse power upgrade fix. I don't like the air entry scoop look and position up the front (as it could get snagged on any (very) rough ground but I could not feed it into the area in front of the grill as it seems to be a sealed unit on the 09 model. Still happy (thanks Cain!). I would put up picture but I still have not worked out how to do it without screwing it up! Any advice and I will post some pictures. Regards G

Please do I never seem to be able to! I was very pleased with the results and it works very well on my Morgan 4/4 Sport and have been running like this for 3 years approximately 29,000 miles. The bracket is new as I've only just made it, before this the intake was zip tied to the grill.
Recently I increased the size of the Cold air intake pipe from the 55mm standard to 76mm would not recommended as there is a drop in BHP on the dyno but an increase in torque, fuelling was ok at top end but she felt sluggish on the road. So this is work in progress...

Folks
I sent pics on to Robbie. I am going to try to move the air scoop from the radiator grill to the grill as Cain has done as I am worried it may snag some time (although it is still higher than the bottom of the sump.
