Alan we are in the same boat, I'm 3 weeks away from getting mine and my order was placed as soon as I had confirmation of the 2014 upgrades.
In the last few months, however, many M3W from TMers have been "shot down" with problems and people that started their journeys with their M3Ws have returned home without them.
My car is ready or so my dealer tells me. I'm not sure what improvements have meanwhile been made or indeed if my car features them all (it's an ongoing process so you never know if a car that was started to be built 30 days ago has all the new parts from a car that is about to sart being built.
Oh and, compared to most M3W's, my own features two problematic sets of parts:
- Suplex Suspension kit - (fronts are reported to have a clearance problem to the exhausts; rears are reported to be impossible to set right, they are too hard)
- Brooklands Exhausts - (reported to shear off after not many miles)
So, I am anxious, hoping Morgan remains proud of the cars they sell and don't want my opinion from their product to change about 180º (I am the proud owner of a 2010 +4, I drive and race it since new and never had even the slightest hint of a problem. A really good car).
We will see. Keep watching this forum, one month from now I'm supposed to be arriving at Portugal already, and you may be sure that, whatever happens (hopefully all GOOD things and GREAT experiences) I will report here.

I am in the same boat... ordered my 2014 as soon as I heard that the bump steer issues had been resolved. I also assumed that all other issues had been resolved as well.. My car will probably be delivered in the next 45 days so I'm crossing my fingers that I get a good one. Have never been this nervous about a vehicle purchase in my life. I expected Morgan to have worked out every kink in 2 1/2 years. Very nervous that I have made a very expensive mistake, but hoping to be proven wrong.

I don't want to add to the anxiety but in 100 years MMC don't appear to have made a hood that keeps water out so 2.5 years may be a tad optimistic to sort the list of issues with the M3W (hood not being one of them)

I can only echo every other replies so far. I began to wonder if I was Bi-Polar as I was going from complete elation to total despair and frustration in an instant. My car is a late 2012 build (no. 385) but due to various circumstances I did not collect it from the dealer until the end of March 2013. From then until now the following has happened:- a) I drove it home (120 miles) in heavy snow and when I got home the boot was full of water. b) At 1700 miles, I had to have a replacement engine because one of the screws inside the air filter came unscrewed and was drawn down the air intake damaging the inlet valve and piston of that particular cylinder. c) I had 3 of the original Morgan style compensators replaced eventually with the new Centa one which now seems to be OK. d) I had the rectifier replaced and the replacement failed later on the same day as the original one. e) I had the comfort kit fitted due to the car having a horrendous bump steer problem. (I love the way the factory call it a comfort kit as though the original front suspension geometry was intended to be as bad as it was). f) I had to have a new crankshaft oil seal fitted to the output bearing on the engine. g) I have had 3 punctures in the same (O/S) front wheel, which to me seems a bit of a coincidence and is probably due to a fault in the wheel. Each time this has occurred it has cost me over £100 for a new tyre and tube. When this last happened I noted that there was no rim tape over the spoke nipples and the guy who fitted the new tyre wound a couple of layers of gaffer tape around the rim before fitting the tyre and since then I have had no more trouble.
All the above problems have resulted in the car being off the road for more than 3 months since I have had it and I have had to use the rescue services (RAC and Morgan Rescue) more times in the 15 months that I have owned the M3W than it my entire motoring life which started in 1965.
I must say that the dealer and the factory were very quick in resolving the many issues I have had but words like "Fit for Purpose" and "Sale of Goods Act" my have focused their minds on the matter. Anything they did were only sticking plasters over problems that should not have been there in the first place.
I have to really think before I use the M3W for any long journeys because my confidence level is very low and add to this the real possibility of the chassis cracking or the bevel box locking up it makes you think twice before even taking it out.
As for the resale value of these early models once the word gets around and the need to lie about it if you come to sell to an unsuspecting new owner, when it is not in your nature to do so, it is very worrying particularly when I used the lump sum from a pension to purchase it in the first place thinking it would depreciate very little. One wonders exactly how much of this sad saga is actually in the public domain or has it been intentionally kept under wraps away from the general public.
Hence the feeling of disappointment mixed with the great deal of pleasure it gives when it is running well.

I wish I could just say positive things and not just moan.
The miles I did in South of France and Northern Italy were a fantastic experience.
Now I have the car recovered I am hearing little from the dealer and the factory have gone deathly silent.
I wish there were easier fixes, I have invested a lot of money and had faith in the factory and done all the three 2014 mods but still not satisfied.
Someone please buy my car. It is the cheapest out there and has Centa plus all 2014 upgrades etc etc.
I want a Mog with 4 wheels.

Perhaps one of you Gents near the factory could initiate a class action law suit on behalf of all owners. Certainly it would be easier for someone in the same region to accomplish this rather than someone on the other side of the world. This is what I fear the most. Not to be disrespectful to those that practice law or to complain about the size of someone's rice bowl. A lawsuit will not serve MMC or us well. Attorneys would do quite well. But we still may not have what we bought. A celebration of heritage, technology and design. Reliability should be included, without us having to demand it.

Yes but someone standing up and saying "I'm done" with the BS may motivate MMC to stop ignoring us!
I too despise lawyers but allowing Morgan to continue to build a sub par vehicle and not address the current owners reoccurring problem is not acceptable either.
So the lesser of the two evils is to fatten some attorneys bank account a bit and take a little out of Morgan. We've all overpaid for our bit of automotive history, a partial refund would be nice!
