Hi all,
Would someone who has the grease fitting mod for the first series compensator be so kind as to tell me the diameter of the hole and where the center of the hole would be located (X inches from seam Y, something like that). Also, does the compensator also need to be drilled and tapped or is there already a threaded hole with a plug in it?

I'd suggest checking with the factory helpline first. Apparently some compensators can have the grease nipple mod and some can't.

My dealer was all set to carry out the mod then got a call to check some part numbers (not sure which). Still awaiting the go/no go from the factory.....

I'm assuming MMC but will clarify with my dealer if/when I get an answer as to whether it can be done.
