I may be a complete knucklehead but draining the box was essentially impossible with the NVH modification bolt-on. I could not get my wrench in there to loosen. Going to try pumping the oil out from the fill plug up top.

I believe I used a socket wrench and it worked fine with the NVH in place. Any other style wrench will not work. Be prepared for a mess.

A long 10mm spanner and a 10mm hex bar is ideal for dealing with the fill plug.



I use the hex bar from a set like this:



The drain plug is 24mm. I don't remember any particular problems accessing it so I guess something in my tool kit just fits!
