All you need to do is to factor in something she wants.

So in my case, Bathroom -Morgan - Kitchen - Morgan. innocent

Result - everybody happy. grin2 swmbo

I went for the "mid life crisis time - which is it to be - Morgan or Mistress?" approach. With a bit of hard sell from a friendly dealer plus some appealing to her financial wisdom, our first Morgan was in the bag in 2003. And we sold it for more than we paid for it on trade in on the current car - thus proving the financial wisdom of the decision.

A wife friendly club was a big help in the decision too. We have made a lot of friends since joining the Morgan fraternity.

It is good for your health. Lower blood pressure, a shared hobby, great fun, meet nice people, factory visits, attend motoring events, bacon sandwiches, cups of coffee.

David - we're not far down the M56 from you at Helsby. As others have said, get her in the car and even try driving it. After lusting after a Morgan since I was 12 and although I knew my wife was into cars I did mot really think she would get it about Morgans until she drove a friend's. She's as nuts about them now as I am.

Also, you're not just buying a Morgan. You're getting a new way of life. We have met some great people and made new friends and have such great fun going out as a group of several Morgans.

Go on - just buy it! Life's too short and come out and join us on some fabulous runs! drive juggle

Strangely it was my wife who wanted us to get a Morgan some years ago when we both took early retirement. It was me who put her off, telling her that they were uncomfortable, impractical and unreliable and we ended up with a sensible Audi Avant instead as a second car. I sometimes wonder if she looks down on me, shaking her head in disbelief!

Jays, she'll just be glad that you came around to her way of thinking. The wives usually get their own way in the end!
