Lovely excursion through Melton Mowbray and out on the B676 through beautiful Leicestershire countryside and on to Lincolnshire ending up at Grimsthorpe Castle (near Bourne and well worth a visit - around 6 miles off the A1 at Colsterworth).

Lovely warm sunshine today. We are packing up in the mountains to go home tomorrow. Today was vehicle shuffle day. I had a fully loaded Mog to take home and swap for the Alfa to cart the rest of the stuff home. A nice drive down the mountain road and around the the lake.
Lovely run out this afternoon through the leafy lanes of Cheshire for a lovely Sunday roast at a nice pub and a meander back along some previously undiscovered lanes. Always fun with a Morgan...
Looking outside at the moment I think it is doing a job I have been putting off for too long....a very large pile of ironing, awful weather down here at the moment....
Nice topless run out to Ugbrooke house yesterday (Day1 of 2) where Lord & Lady Clifford were holding their annual Classic Car Show in aid of Helpfor Heroes.
A nice eclectic mix of mostly British origin although there was a nice Lancia Drophead with Sliding Pillar front end.
Quite unique (to me) Austin fabric bodied trials/racer which had at one time been prop drive, with pictures (yes I know Elfin Safely) quite a frightening prospect. It was the test bed for a twin aircraft engine back in the day apparently.
It was my car of the show as the patina was spot on and no polish in sight being fabric bodied......
