My S1 tyre monitor display now features a small triangular black area in the top left corner, which looks if it might expand across the rest of the LCD. Has anyone else experienced this? It was parked in relatively hot sun in Samur last week, which seems to have caused it.

You haven't pressed the screen and damaged the LCD have you?
It sounds like the unit has been damaged.

I had an odd message on mine in Cornwall at the mog event. I asked Mark Baldwin about it and he said sometimes the unit can get squashed by the bits around it, particualry if you use it as a rest to get in and out with.

No issues with that in the time I had my S1 Phil.
Have noticed that on the S2 it's much less reliable - beeping at me the whole time, pressures it displays change day to day (Cold - only by a couple of PSI though) and it totally freaks out and looses the sensors at random on a long journey.

Not aware of pressing on the screen, and unusally the black area follows the box line contours on the outside, not an irregular pattern that could be caused by pressure. Just wondered if heat from a hairdryer gently applied might shift it. Probably wait and get Mark's opinion at the next service as the unit has been trouble free for a couple of years.
