RE the Louvres - when I visited the factory last October to see my first car being built there were a load of green bodies already sprayed, and stickered up. It could be you have got one of these. I have asked whether my new one will have the louvres. I feel it should to be a true 2014 car.
I don't know how you ended up with Mk1 exhausts. Quality really needs to be stepped up at the factory.
Hopefully the new pipes are holding up. ML assures me that their demo car has done over 1000 miles without incident.

Mario, I have been enthralled by your account of your journey so far, not only with the photos of the country, but also with your trials. Keep them coming, and I think with a touch of editing, they would make for a wonderful magazine article.
