I work on one And i dont agree with it
It s not a good thing for me

Mine has not got the NVH kit and is not noisy, just a reassuring mechanical whine.

I have not gone for the NVH; I have been guided in this decision by the company's documented problems with rubber mounting other areas of the car!

e.g. Rectifier and exhausts

Also, in order to fit the kit parts have to be welded to the chassis and then the chassis re-painted/protected from rust. Seems a bit of a one way trip to me.

Hence i have adopted a policy of wait and see.

Yes, on mine too. My first bevel box was noisy from day one, not just whining, but sounding as if there were loose nuts and bolts flying around in it. I had it replaced under warranty, and made the decision not to have the NVH kit fitted, for reasons that others have already given, and my new BB has proved to be quiet and I don't think it would have been better with the [extremely heavy] kit fitted.

What I can't understand is why the NVH kit would make an otherwise noisy BB sound quiet, sure it won't transmit noise into the chassis, but beyond that? The box will whine however it is fitted, surely?

Hello
thank you for your notices ...
Mine is noisy, nevertheless I made test of vidange with different oil (approximately every 3000 km)
The installation of the kit NVH does not seem effective at the level of the noise
wait and see ...

Mine has the original BB in it, no noise, works fine. Like has been posted, I'll wait and see before splurging on the NVH kit.

I was booked in to have NVH fitted at dealer, they had the parts. On reviewing they declined to fit it as they would loose money due to unrealistic times quoted. They saved me the money as I now belive it does not do much. Maybe its better original fit at the factory.

The point is Tim, was your BB noisy in the first place, if not or if the noise was tolerable, then I can see no point in having the NVH kit in the first place, also the kit weighs a ton, and the one thing the Three Wheeler does not need is extra weight!

I have heard that many of the dealers, worldwide are complaining about the unrealistic fitting times, something that should be sorted out by the factory, but which is impinging on customers it seems.

PaulJ , my understanding is the NVH acts as a strut between the BB and gearbox. For me it certainly helped eliminate a feel of backlash between the BB and front of the car - I have no regrets having had it fitted ( by the factory ). The drive feels more controlled and smooth.
That said I had the new compensator fitted at the same time so I didnt have a true A B experience , but I think that the compensator is a different issue.
