Didn't go far today - just to the Over Festival. Asked to display the car when I arrived, so parked up next to Over Basin, not too far from a Lanchester and a modern Royal Enfield Bullet efi with chair. Trip was mainly an opportunity to fill the tank for tomorrow's run to Curborough...

Thornfalcon Classic at Taunton lovely derive over in the morning, bit busy on the way home but great day out. Got told of by  when I overtook a caravan on the way home, totally clear bit of road, I think she is still getting used to the acceleration

Out for a drive into South Wales, down to a place called Cowbridge and then back up the Rhonda Valley to the Head of the Valley road then back to the Mildands.
Came up behind a nice green Plus 4 is the service station. A quick hello.
A brief chat with a Aston Martin DBS owner and then a roar of his V8 and a friendly wave as he peeled off.
Saw lots of police vans going into Wales for the NATO summit. What was very impressive were the multiple formations of the police motorcycle riders as they passed us in the opposite carriage way. Perfectly spaced.
And then was we came off M5 at Ashchurch, 3 separate lots of the Red Arrows flew overhead. You wouldn't see them in an ordinary motor.
Apart from not picking up any Welsh butter, a perfect day out.
