Thank goodness the aircon was working even if only at low fan speed. We finally put the top up to avoid terminal sun burn at about 1:30 and arrived at about 2:30 to learn it was the hottest day of the year at 37°C.
Fascinating place; we managed to visit some of the sites including the university and the cathedral then settled for an early supper in a tapas bar and then back to the airconditioned room at the hotel
About 80 miles according to the odometer. Some at highway speeds. Good stuff. Hot though. Central Florida is about 30-35 C. I went to the upholstery shop to pick up pieces for the other Plus 8 I am cleaning up. A Plus 8 transporting bits of another Plus 8 . . . seems somehow a bit incestuous.
Cheers,

Buggered Off, to a modern none leaky car, heart's still ticking
Driven for 60miles to Welshpool and back via Newtown (Wales) I waved at a nice two seater BRG Morgan and shortly afterwards a nice red MG TC. Great day. I parked at the head of the valley where I live and took this picture.....Sun was a bit bright but I think it works !
