I married a young girl cashier who ended up as Assistant Manager at a branch of Barclays, before she left.
I passed all responsibility for financial matters to her years ago. So I no longer have any ability to make financial decisions. Hell, I don't even know how much money I earn!!
Yes, we can afford it, but that is because she stops me wasting money... Catch 22 really.

I bet your existing mog starts playing up now - they are sensitive beasts you know, Do they ever not play up to attract attention? Aldermog has a couple of small issues, I'd like to deal with them but she is just fine as she is... And as her position is secure she will be happy.

Peter,Tell her you are after value - after all if you lived in Ireland you would have to pay 28% registration tax on top of the after VAT price of the car and then 2K road tax PER YEAR!!! Tell her you are really saving a lot of money by living in England so the car is really a steal!!!!!

My wife honestly does not have a bank account or credit card! We have no joint accounts. Lucky she is economical to run!
I find the 4/4 economical to run too, will be in it tomorrow.
