It looks as though he is too busy out enjoying himself in his new 3 wheeler to pay us any attention at the moment Dan. I'd also like to know how he is getting on with it.

This time of year in Wisconsin is just beautiful. Living in Michigan all my life, I was used to the same beautiful tree colors as most of Wisconsin. Now down here in Missouri, the fall colors come later and there's not as much hardwood around so some of the colors are just not a pretty.

You're probably right, he's having toooooo much fun driving his new toy around and getting all those thumbs ups.

It has been a great year so far. I put on 1154 trouble free miles on it so far. It drives great and has been a real show stopper anywhere I go.

I decided to do a last few tweaks on it and you know as well as I one thing leads to another.

One was the tail lights that I just did not think were bright enough for me. I decided to install some Custom Dynamics round dual color LED lights. They have 24 red LED's on the outer ring for brake and running lights. The inner 24 LED's are amber and when off all the LED's are clear with the polished aluminum case. That with the center LED brake /running light works very very well.

I also installed a black Custom Dynamics LED license plate frame for that old school look.

Next I added a SpeedoDRD speed correction module and my speedometer matches my GPS at all speeds exactly.

I also added a small wind screen that completely keeps the wind off my head at speed.

To top that off I am installing a new Carbon/GRP seat that I am making now. It will be quick release and I will be able to remove it in less than ten seconds. The carbon seat has me sitting lower so I feel I look like I am sitting in and not on top of the trike.

Because of this the steering wheel was in the way of my gauges. I searched and found a wheel that would take care of my issues. I have better leg room and can see the gauges clearly. Not the ultimate styling but form has to fit function
and this does a pretty good job I think I can live with.

When I receive it I will make a custom spacer between the wheel and quick release mount that is attached to the wheel.

This will give me room to run the wiring from the four horn switches to the center of the hub connected to the horn contacts. It should work slick as I will use some thin black wiring like a ribbon cable as it only has to trigger a relay coil. You will not be able to see the wiring from most angles and the wheel can be removed the same as before with the horn button in the center hub.

This should take care of all the small details I found and wanted to improve on. The back of the seat will be all clear coated carbon to match the engine cover behind it.

It has been the most enjoyable vehicle I have ever driven and am so glad to take a chance building one and having it turn out the way it did.

I will have no problem next year taking extended trips as the trike has proven its reliability and maintenance free durability.

Ha Ha, about the thumbs up but you are 100% correct on that one and is one hell of a chick magnet for sure!!!

That little fella is one heck of a car, it's something you can be really proud of. The screen finishes it off, giving it a jet fighter look from the front.

All good changes. I'll need to look into the speedo speed adjuster for my next bike project, thanks for the info.
