Hello All

Very happy I'm typing this post. Found this forum on a google search and looking forward to talking with fellow Morgan enthusiasts. When I'm not on here I Work at a Jaguar dealer and also freelance write as well for my own website. Had the chance to recently spend some seat time in the car I hope to buy in 3 to 5 years (a morgan 3 wheeler) which can be seen below

Welcome to TM Carl, glad you found us.

A nice write up, and I hate to criticize, but you might as well get things right. The engine actually only produces 80bhp, early press releases from Morgan themselves, have perpetuated the myth of higher power.

Also, I hadn't heard that: "Morgan has added power adjustable pedals to help fit drivers of various heights" is this actually true, or just something you assumed?

Looking forward to reading more of your work.

thank you for the warm welcome everyone :)))))))) and paul to answer your question the 115 horsepower number was told to me by the morgan salesman that was out with me (and is also cited by a few other publications. Seen 80 horses in other write ups tho and i'm curious to c which is right. And the power adjustable pedals item does appear to be true have seen that item mentioned in a few other reviews for 2014 versions tho my 2013 tester probably did not have that feature installed

A slightly belated welcome to TM!

Unlike a car, and like a motorcycle, the power is measured at the back wheel and my understanding is that it's 82bhp.

I can assure you that the only way to adjust the pedal box is with good old fashioned spanners!

The engine is 115bhp it'd be an under whelming 2litre if it only produced 80 bhp then had all those transmission losses to boot! You'd end up with about 50 ish bhp at the rear.

Welcome by the way
