Would be interested to hear about it Phil. ......... The resin polish from autoglymn seems not to be a polish, but more of a wax, but I'm not 100% sure. Certainly the best product I've used, though it's bloody hard work the results don't last ,long and you risk leaving white residue around the place. Almost certainly you are undoing all your hard work by washing it off with detergent every time you wash the car.... I'll put up a new thread then in the next couple of days.

Zymol full process for me.... and judging by the quips about clenliness of car over the weekend I can only conclude it's very effective.

Without using some kind of soap, its never going to come up clean though? A wash down with a jetwash won't even get the flies off the front, let alone the film of road grime bonded to the surface. So it's full wash, complete dry with chammy, and then full polish / wax each time.
It needs doing again this weekend after it's 2000 miles to france and back last week. Not sure how I'll get all the flies off - need to buy a chamelon..

Take a look into HERE , its a mecca for anyone whom want to look after their cars' bodywork. I use Zymol autowash, then Zaino Z8, and finally Zymol Concours, it has better and deeper shine than new...

I find that the BMW polish and wax range are very good.
