Hi Max, Not sure what exactly was extra in 2005, but I guess most opf the following: front bumper, rear over riders, S/S wires, Mesh Grill, Bonnet Stays, paint protection film, metallic paint, burgundy leather seats with contrasting piping, Special MK Walnut Dash (with flick switches, clock and start button),Organ accelerator pedal, Mota Lita wheel, Elasticated leather door pockets, S/S Chassis covers, S/S gear knob, Rear luggage rack, and Mohair hood. Mind you, most of above does not make it drive better!

I will make a note of these as I would like them on my Mog when I find it !

After announcing my "First Drive" (See Classic Forum 29th July)of a Morgan, and taking much of the advice offered in order to gain "her indoors" approval, I have at last bought a Morgan! Although based in Cheshire, I was visiting my son in Sevenoaks at the weekend and felt it only courteous to call in at Brands Hatch Morgan. Fast forward to next Thursday and I pick up my 2005 55 Reg Morgan Plus 4 in Jaguar Crimson Imperial Red. It is a real beaut - and I can't wait to get my hands on it and enjoy the 200 mile drive home (avoiding as many motorways as possible. Will post some pictures once I have it (and have mastered the technique). Looking forward to years of fun. Insidious disease this Morgan thing. Bought one to bond with my old man. Now I'm looking at plus 8's a year later. Pass my apologies to your better half. On a serious note mate, best decision ever made. You will never look back.

Amazing how often it is the Mog that finds a new owner. They really are a bit like stray cats, they sort of move in on you before you quite realise it.

How true, we have had our stray cat Bertie, for two years now. We gave him back to his owner twice and he still came back, even though we were not feeding him. Insurance and annual jabs cost more than the Morgan to insure. He is part of the family now. In fact he is sleeping in my seat right now.

Because you feed them and give them water - Dogs think that you must be GOD!

It's all too true. Bought my 4/4 in 1981. Had 7 Morgans since. Yes, and all part of the family. Hard to get rid of them . . .
Congrats David, but if I am any example, I suspect there will be more . . .
Cheers,
Mark
