Paintwork. This is most difficult part. All body panels has been dismantled, door handles removed, holes welded.Door handles on Aero S3 looks awful , door skin too soft and they too low.I am 1.64m and have to bend to reach the handle. So that's gone.Inside the doors some improvement has been done. All bolts and skews are SS now.Where possible wood has been treated and lacquered.Spend 5 weeks trying to paint but realise I am useless at it.So went Russian way.Which is involved lot of friends and a LOT of drinking in the workshop, discussion of colour ,arguments who is best car sprayer in Europe and ready to proof it,drunken disorder , 4 days collective work,10 coats of paint and 7 coat of lacquer the body has been done and knowledge of Russian language of my English,French,German and Swedish friends greatly improved.Today I am suffering from hangover.looking at the wings and bumpers. We going to paint it next week And after I never going to drink ever in my life.Maybe I have to invite some Russian girls to take part in painting.Photos will follow

Hi Yuri, So you’ve now got remote opening doors, that’s very classy, you could have used a button under the wing mirror like on the TVR Cerbera, that possibly would have been about the correct height for you, but I can see it wouldn’t have the desired effect.
I’m looking forward to seeing the finished article as it sounds like you have a host of talented friends to call upon, hope you’ve completed a risk assessment with so many drinks bottles lying around the workshop, you should lookout for different paint effects when you trip over them whilst spraying.

I love your posts Yuri and your methods keep at it my man. And as for the Russian Girls bit ..... I am so looking forward to seeing your car when it is finished also, hopefully in the metal. We should have a TM get-together just to celebrate its re-birth
Cheers
